AIMS AND OBJECTIVES
The major aims and objectives of the JYOTI SAMAJIK SEWA SANSTHA (JSSS) include:
- Improving educational status of disadvantaged population and improving public education of in the society by implementing programmes and interventions.
- Ensuring care, protection, rehabilitation and advancement of women and children, elderly, disabled, orphans, destitute and mentally retarded persons etc. through institutional and non-institutional care programme.
- Ensuring enhancement of skills through vocational and skills training for facilitating self-employment to the poor, needy and weaker sections of society.
- Carrying out advocacy with state and/or central government authorities for facilitating overall socio-economic development of socially disadvantaged populations as well as ensuring their care and protection.
- Working with government authorities directly or indirectly in the times of any disaster and/or other natural or man-made calamities.
- Ensuring necessary care, support and rehabilitation services for disabled, orphans and vulnerable children, disadvantaged women and elderly.
- Arranging treatment for drug abusers by providing proper care, nursing treatment and counselling services.
- Arranging, establishing and running health care services for the welfare of disadvantaged populations.
